"A1 Kennels have always provided the best quality care for my dog Bella. I was always fussy about who I left my “baby” with but knew Yvette Damon would look after Bella like one of their own – which they always did. Sadly Bella passed away last January (2009) and Yvette was just as upset as I was. Yvette and Damon loved and cared for Bella and they will now be caring for my new dog - Max - a stray I bought from the RSPCA. A1 are absolutely the best!! "

"A1 Kennels is not a place that looks after dogs when their owner is away. They are a home and a family. Like most people who love their dogs, I didn't want to leave mine with strangers. But the first time I took Vinnie to A1, we were introduced by name to all the other dogs there. And when I got back from my trip, Damon and Yvette had stories to tell about what Vinnie had been up to – so it was like catching up after a holiday. I travel a lot for work, and my travel is often unpredictable. But I can call at any time, send an email, call in without an appointment, and they know who Vinnie is, what he needs, and will do the best they can to make room for him and make my life just that little bit easier. Other customers will probably tell you about the large yards (true), the friendly staff (true), and the great diet and exercise the dogs get (true). But for me, the best thing about A1 is that they know my dog and they treat him as an individual, no matter how busy they are."

"We are Annie Rosa and Billy Cordingley. We definitely recommend you as a holiday place. We enjoyed romping in the very large private garden you gave us and when we were tired we rested under the big tree. Our mum and dad knew we were safe with you because our kennel was a well dug in shipping container which would protect us if a cyclone came. There was lots of room and comfy beds to sleep on. Although we missed our mum and dad we didn’t have much time to think about it because there was always something happening. Thank you Yvette and Damon and Skye - that lovely lady with the gentle eyes - for playing with us more than once every day, we liked our walks with you Damon and our mum thanks you for the extra training you gave us. Our dad thanks you for the shampoo you gave us before they picked us up.
