Boarding Cattery

Our wonderful cattery caters for all cats - with a wide variety of likes and requirements, our pens provide the deluxe suite for your cat!  It has a variety of single and double pens, for cats who need the extra 'room' to play.  There is also a large 'play pen' for multiple cats or for long term boarders. 

Cattery Pens 

All the pens are constructed with 3 different levels with ramps going between levels so that your cat has the choice.  Each cat has their own chair, with comfortable cushion as well!  You are also welcome to bring your cats own bed or toys from home to help them settle during their stay.  Many cats are happy with a piece of their owners clothing for comfort and familiarity. 

A1 Kennels and Cattery plays music through the cattery daytime and night time for the comfort of your cat.  Our office is also located in the cattery so there is plenty of activity going on in the cattery and potential "admirers and patters" to ensure your pet feels welcome.  Our staff are more than happy to ensure each cat receives plenty of cuddles too!

We have the facilities to board other pets as well, from birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, other reptiles and even chooks!  Just ask!

Veterinary Service

Should the need arise, we have an excellent vet on call 24hours a day. 

Fleas & Ticks

Please leave all parasites at home!  Cats may wear flea collars. We reserve the right to treat an animal with fleas and ticks at your expense.

Diets

We feed all our cats on IAMS, recommended by vets.  If your cat requires a special diet, please let us know or feel free to bring in what they need during their stay with us.

Vaccinations

All cats must have their current F3 vaccination.   The F3 vaccination comprises of: feline enteritis, feline calici virus (part of the cat flue virus) and feline rhinotracheitis.  A copy of this certificate must be brought in with your cat on admission.

Hygiene

For the comfort of all our animals, we ask that you check your animal for fleas prior to boarding to help us keep the cattery free of these pests.  If your animal has a problem with fleas, please phone us to discuss stategies for eliminating these problems early.  Cats may wear flea collars.  Sorry, we don't offer hydrobaths for cats - they don't seem to enjoy it!!
